PARK SLOPE

SUNNY BACKYARD BROOKLYN

This wonderful family hosts delicious micro farm-to-table dinners so we needed distinct areas for the Veg bed, cooking area and dining table along with tons of plants for pollinators to nibble on, birds to perch on and family pets to explore. This garden became a unique ecosystem with the addition of the steel water feature.

This in ground bed is comprised of bolders, native flowering shrubs, beautiful hand-crafted blue glazed pots filled with flowering annuals
This stone patio dining area is surrounded by native perennials and flowering annuals as well as a Japanese Maple. In between the concrete pavers are hand-laid Mexican Beach Pebbles. The wooden dining table rests on an recycled plastic bottle rug

SUMMER FOR THE CITY FESTIVAL

Lincoln Center

A BUZZ AT HEARST PLAZA

Working with the visual director, Clint Ramos we helped create these pollinator gardens in front the Paul Milstein Pool in Hearst Plaza and Damrosch Park as part of the interactive spaces for Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City Festival. This pop-up garden provided an organic respite. Drought tolerant plantings, native perennials mixed with annual cut flowers gave quite a show for the Festival for 2023 though 2025

MIDWOOD

HIDDEN LEAFY HAVEN

SUBWAY SANCTUARY

This hidden gem lives behind the elevated Q train platform allowing a private maximalist urban garden to thrive. This backyard is full of perennials, a veg garden, succulent corner, a green house, patio seating, space for tropical houseplants to live outside and hosts a bevy of native insects, animals and New Yorkers; giving everyone a chance to live their best lives in the wild.

DITMAS PARK

SHADY (RE)TREAT

NATURALLY DITMAS

This beautiful Ditmas Park Treasure needed a storm-water makeover. A modulated ground cover was added to mimic a woodland edge full of native shade perennials, field stone paths, river stones and branches. The awesome 3 kids who live here explore all that nature can provide them.

HARLEM

A PLACE TO REST

FAMILY CARE

This beautiful family needed a quiet space to escape the busyness, a space for a daily check-in with nature. A place for a daughter to chill with her dads for some home time after homework.

KENSINGTON

SITTING UNDER A TREE

A PLACE FOR A PUP

This sweet Kensington backyard’s defining feature were these wondrous old conifers that provided dappled light and a little area of respite. A pup named Jasper longed to chase moths and roll in some stones for a quick back scratch. These woodland shade planting surrounded the trees while still providing space for temperate houseplants to summer.
